Why blog? Well, why not blog?
I studied journalism at a time when blogs had just started growing in importance. Later, as a practicing journalist, I turned to many blogs to find leads on stories, interviews and breaking news. In the years since I left journalism for broader communications projects, I’ve launched blogs for public awareness initiatives, contributed posts to existing blogs by corporate clients, managed posts for leading communications companies, and advised others on how to launch, maintain and/or optimize content for the blogosphere and beyond.
I really love working with WordPress. And it’s nice to have a place to post if I feel like it, where third-party control is minimized. So here I will post once in a while, when I’m not posting elsewhere.
